The CCP facade comes alive with specially designed lanterns crafted by the artisans of Pampanga. Made possible by the generous support from the City of San Fernando, this 100 year old folk tradition dominates the CCP complex skyline with its ingenious craftsmanship and technology. The Grand Lighting Ceremony of November 3 will be accompanied by performances from the City of San Fernando Choir and the Magsilbi Tamu Brass Band 919. Pampanga officials, patrons and the team of artisans led by 3rd generation lantern maker Tatang Eming Quiwa will be present. The lanterns will be displayed until January 8, 2012 (Sunday).
