Classical and contemporary dance combine in an exciting opening Gala. Premieres include BP resident choreographer Alden Lugnasin’s Bungangsakit (Fruit of Sorrow) a new work about a woman who is shunned by her home town due to her uncommon appearance. Other highlights include: Les Sylphides, our celebration of Chopin’s birth bicentennial this year along with the Winner of the 1st BP Choreographer’s Cup. Gala performances with the Manila Symphony Orchestra.
