About the Show:

Part of the concert's proceeds will go to the New Hope To Asia Christian Foundation, a non-profit school organization that has been reaching out to the street children of Cainta since 1999.

"Coming Home," as the name implies, is a homecoming concert for Fil Am singer / songwriter Dennis Sy, also known as the lead male singer and band leader for the NY-based group Chapter 2, Artist Of The Year awardee at the 2006 LA Music Awards, and the first Filipino band to perform at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall, Weill Hall in New York.

Outside of his extensive involvement with Chapter 2, Dennis has been bringing pride and attention to New York artists in the Fil Am community across the country. One of his notable works is in spearheading the NY Handog Project that revived the song "Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo" in 2010. His years of active participation in the community paved the way for his receiving the 2011 Outstanding Artist Award from the FANHS (Filipino American National Historical Society) -- NY Chapter. He continues to write and interpret songs that promote his heritage as a Filipino, from the highly regarded OFW anthem "Pilipino Ako," a touching Christmas ballad "Ss Araw ng Pasko," and most recently for the Sendong Typhoon rebuilding efforts with his original composition "Sama-Sama Harapin Natin ang Bukas."

On July 20, 2012 Friday, Dennis will be bringing his brand of entertainment to Music Museum. It'll be the first time he'll be performing for his friends, fans, and supporters back home since he left the country in 1994 to pursue a career in New York as an IT professional. But he never said goodbye to his music and songwriting, and "Coming Home" sets out to present a glimpse of his musical journey for the past 18 years.

It'll be a show that will likely bring back a lot of memories for the concert goers through songs that he grew up with, but it will also feature a mixture of current pop hits from his experience of being with one of the most respected and recognized show bands in the East Coast.

"THE SABADO FOUR... MORE!"

The wacky bunch of SABADO BOYS, each coming from a different genre, has indeed created a melting pot of various sounds and influences bound to conjure a weekly symphony of music, entertainment and good time.

LUKE MEJARES
After leaving South Border, in 2004, Luke Mejares went back to the spotlight with his debut solo album “Stop, Luke and Listen.” His singles “Paano Na” and “214” were commercial and critical triumphs. This earned Luke his victory in the 2005 Philippine Hip-hop Awards as Male R&B Artist of the Year and led industry insiders to tag him as the country’s King of R&B.

JIMMY BONDOC
Tagged as one of the country’s top acoustic artist, Jimmy “Mr. Musikero” Bondoc illuminates the terms "great talent," "performer," and "musicality." He has popularized numerous singles including the no. 1 phenomenal hit singles “Let Me Be The One” and “I Believe.” He has recently released the album “Undercovers,” a conglomerate of covers and revivals of songs that are close to Jimmy’s heart ("Grow Old With You," "Don`t Give Up On Us," "Beauty and Madness," etc.)

PAOLO SANTOS
This singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist has already put out four (4) albums, each landing at the top of the charts, has shared the stage with international artists like Duncan Sheik, Jason Mraz, and Keith Martin and considered as one of the most recognizable voices in Philippine music.

DJ MYKE SALOMON
DJ Myke is a member of the acapella all-male group Akafellas and is popular to be the top human beatbox in the Philippines. He sings, plays the guitar and is, uhm, also a weight-lifter.
