Choreographers Herbert Alvarez, Novy Bereber, Stanley Cañete, and Brezhnev Larlar explore themes of Filipino courtship and romance in four bold, new neo-classical ballets: pieces nostalgic of the distinct eras they are set to and which are by turns funny, tragic, solemn, and charming. The new works dare PBT’s young crop of dancers to show off their versatility and their artistry. Laugh, cry and fall in love anew with the Philippine Ballet theater in this rich celebration of tradition, movement, music, and above all, love.
